Standard Warranty Period

All Lovi Smart Homes products come with a comprehensive 1-year (12 months) warranty from the date of purchase.

Includes: Hubs, Switches, Sensors, and Smart Lights

What's Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use:

  • Hardware malfunctions and component failures
  • Electrical defects arising from normal use
  • Software and firmware issues
  • Connectivity problems within specified range
  • Manufacturing defects discovered within warranty period

What's Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage from drops, impacts, or accidents
  • Water damage (unless device is rated as water-resistant)
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries, cosmetic damage)
  • Damage from power surges or improper electrical installation
  • Loss or theft of the device
  • Damage from natural disasters

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: Order number, product model, purchase date, and issue description
  3. Troubleshoot: Our support team will attempt to resolve the issue remotely first
  4. Repair or Replace: If remote resolution fails, we'll arrange for repair or replacement
  5. Resolution Timeline: Most claims are resolved within 7-14 business days

Return for Warranty Service

  • Lovi provides free return shipping for warranty claims
  • We'll send a prepaid shipping label via email
  • Pack the device securely with all original accessories
  • Include the warranty claim number on the package
  • Track your return using the provided tracking number

Repair or Replacement

  • Minor issues: Repaired and returned within 7 business days
  • Major defects: Replaced with equivalent or better model
  • If exact model unavailable: Replacement with next equivalent model
  • Repaired/replaced devices carry remaining original warranty period

Proof of Purchase

Valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Acceptable proof includes:

  • Original purchase receipt or invoice
  • Order confirmation email from Lovi
  • Credit card statement showing Lovi purchase

Transferability

Warranty coverage is transferable to subsequent owners within the warranty period. The original purchase date determines warranty expiration.
